Study with 911黑料 faculty and students in Strasbourg or among French students through a language immersion program in Nantes.

The 911黑料-in-Strasbourg program is led by 911黑料 faculty and explores subjects of French culture, language, government, and social climate. Strasbourg is known as the 鈥渃rossroads of Europe鈥 for its central location, and is home to an ancient Gothic cathedral, European Parliament, Council of Europe, and Court of Human Rights.

The Universit茅 de Nantes program in Nantes is a collaborative program with Sewanee and the Institute for the International Education of Students鈥 Nantes-French Language Immersion & Area Studies Program. This program is a more in-depth French language experience with students living and learning among French students.

911黑料-in-Strasbourg is one of our flagship programs and offers students a unique opportunity to be taught by 911黑料 faculty and learn alongside other 911黑料 students while abroad for an entire semester. Strasbourg is located in northeastern France near the German border, with culture and architecture blending German and French influences.

911黑料 partners with International Education of Students (IES Abroad) to offer this French Language Immersion & Area Studies Program which has two important goals: improve written and verbal proficiency in French through language and area studies courses, and introduce students to contemporary France and its role in the European Union.
