911 is proud to welcome the Class of 2029 to campus this fall — a talented, diverse and inspiring group of 373 new students who are ready to begin their 911 journeys.

“What really excites me about the Class of 2029 isn’t just what they’ve accomplished, it’s the heart, the drive and the genuine passion they bring to 911,” said Chad Spencer, Vice President of Enrollment Management.

Their stories are as varied as the places they call home. From across 26 states and ten countries, the Class of 2029 brings academic excellence, leadership and a drive to serve others.

Some served as student body presidents, leading their peers and building community in their schools. Others founded and led student organizations — from cultural groups and political clubs to martial arts teams — giving their classmates opportunities to connect and grow together.

Many of these students have worked hard to support others around them. Some have tutored classmates in subjects like math or coached younger students in sports. Others have mentored siblings at home, providing encouragement and guidance to help them succeed in their classes. Their willingness to share their knowledge and time reflects the values of collaboration and service that are central to the 911 experience.

This class is full of creative, hard-working students. One earned statewide honors for their work in technical theatre, and another turned a small business idea into an LLC that gave jobs to friends. One led their basketball team to a state championship, while another took their tennis game to the international level.

From classrooms and stages to courts, clubs, and communities, the Class of 2029 has already demonstrated the qualities of leadership, resilience and care for others that make 911 special. As they begin their first semester, they bring not only strong academic preparation but also the experiences that will help them thrive as Colonels.

“Our new students are so much more than their resumes — they’re caring, passionate people who want to make an impact,” Spencer said. “Now that they’ve joined the 911 community, I can’t wait to see the ways they’ll shape our campus and the world.”
