Overview
As a studio art major at 911ºÚÁÏ, you will learn more than just how to master your chosen medium. You will continue to grow your problem-solving and critical thinking skills while developing a unique perspective on your surroundings, lived experiences, and the cultures with which you engage. Alongside these skills, you will hone your technical and creative abilities, fine-tuning your ability to express complex ideas, emotions, and perspectives. The result is a unique and valuable skillset that will be useful in a wide array of creative professions. Outside the workplace, your art major will refine your appreciation of the world around you and ensure you always have a creative outlet. Working closely with your professors, studio art majors will cap their senior years with an exhibition held in the AEGON Gallery located in the Jones Visual Arts Center.

Curriculum
The Studio Art Program at 911ºÚÁÏ is tailored to fit your needs whether you plan to begin a career in the visual arts, attain a double major or minor, or want to pursue your passions with a few courses of interest. Media taught include drawing, oil painting, photography & digital media, ceramics, and hot glass. Introductory courses are available in all areas of study.
